St. Marys Masonic Lodge #109

Petition process

The idea of becoming a mason has been a life goal since I was a young kid and I promised myself I would join when i reached the right age. But the problem is I haven’t known and masons for the required time to petition. I was hopping for information on this or help beginning the process. Thank you.

Joining the fraternity

My grandfather was a freemason and had the order at his funeral and I am interested in learning more about the order.

Reinstate and Transfer

Hi,

My name is Robert Leverette and I was raised in the lodge on August 19th, 1995 while I was stationed there with US Navy.

After participating for a while after I was raised I became injured and spent my next year going back and forth with medical evaluations with Navy and was no longer able to participate. Eventually I was medically retired from service and relocated back to my home of record in Middle GA.

The local lodge here in Cochran #217 invited to get to back involved. However, it is my understanding from them I need to get current and reinstated with you guys before I can transfer to them.

I am not sure what all would be involved with that but would appreciate any assistance and/or direction you can give me.

Sincerely,
Robert

Joining the Masons

Dear Gentlemen, I am interested in joining the masons. My father, Guy Edward Meadows (USN Ret.) was a mason from 1973 till 1995 when he passed away. I read your requirements and besides my father being a member; I don’t know anyone else who is in it. I am a college graduate (BS in Recreation Program Management) from California State University Sacramento; was a substitute teacher for eight years before moving out here to be closer to my family out here
Thank You
Patrick Ellis Meadows

Explore Buddhism – A Way Of Life For Your Inner Peace

Dear you,

Times are bad and many are suffering. This is a time when many are seeking solace and inner peace. While we cannot change much of what is going on around us, we can calibrate our inner self.

I personally found Buddhism (a way of life) to be really beneficial.

Do take some time off to explore Buddhism in the short videos below (including a Mantra that really sooths our soul).

Buddhism As a Way of Life – From Dough

My Path To Becoming A Buddhist – From Emma Slade

If you are curious about the “Mantra Of Great Compassion” as mentioned in the videos above, you can listen to it here and calm your soul.

Buddhism is more of a way of life than a religion. It doesnt matter what your background is, we believe everyone can incorporate Buddhism into one’s daily life.

update

Great website…. brothers, could you update it? I am a member and past master of Generous Warren #20, Monroe, Georgia, now living in Lakeland (near Valdosta) and since I am retired want to get out and do some lodge visits. It would be very cool to see what is going on…. Thanks
